Mango Milkshake recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced (about 2 cups of mango chunks)
  • 1 cup cold milk (whole milk, skim milk, or a dairy-free alternative like almond milk)
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional, for flavor)
  • A pinch of saffron strands (optional, for color and flavor)
  • A scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • Chopped nuts or fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Mango:

  • Peel, pit, and dice the ripe mangoes, collecting about 2 cups of mango chunks.

2. Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, add the mango chunks, cold milk, sugar, ice cubes, ground cardamom (if using), and saffron strands (if using).
  • If you prefer an extra creamy milkshake, you can also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream at this stage.

3. Blend Until Smooth:

  • Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Taste the milkshake and adjust the sugar if needed.

4. Serve:

  • Pour the mango milkshake into tall glasses.
  • If desired, garnish with chopped nuts (such as almonds or pistachios) or a sprig of fresh mint leaves.

5. Enjoy:

  • Serve your homemade mango milkshake immediately while it's cold and refreshing.

Mango milkshakes are a delightful treat, especially during the summer months when mangoes are in season. You can also get creative by adding a pinch of ground cinnamon, a squeeze of lime juice, or a drizzle of honey to vary the flavors.
